Radiant Glow Peels

RADIANT GLOW PEELS

What are peels?

A peel treatment is a cosmetic skin treatment which involves application of chemical solutions to the skin and this causes the outer damaged layers of the skin to exfoliate and eventually peel away. This leads to the production of newer, healthier skin layers that give the skin a radiant, youthful and refreshed glow.

What do peels do?

The chemical solutions used are naturally occurring acids with active ingredients that allow your skin to appear smoother and help to improve the marks/dark spots on your skin. It also improves the skin texture and complexion. There are different types of peels-superficial, medium, deep. The most suitable peel for your skin will be determined during consultation.

What is the process for receiving treatment?

The first step is to book your no obligation consultation. This will take place at a time convenient to you with Dr Shyna herself. At the consultation, Dr Shyna will undertake a comprehensive 30 minute assessment to identify your needs and to determine if the treatment is suitable for you and safe for you to receive. Following this assessment, Dr Shyna will give her recommendations as to what treatments may benefit you, including other treatments available. Prior to any treatments being carried out, the procedures and their risks and costs will be clearly explained. At this point, Dr Shyna recommends that you take a "cooling off" period of 48 hours to make sure you are happy to proceed. However, if, for your own convenience, you would prefer to proceed directly, the treatments can be carried out after the consultation, subject to your consent and appointment availability.. As part of the treatment process, before and after photographs will be taken following your consent. These photographs are strictly confidential, as are the rest of your records. After the treatment, you will given full post-procedure aftercare information.

ZO Stimulator Peel

The Stimulator Peel incorporates three essential formulas that prep, peel and neutralise the skin so it looks and feels healthier without irritation or down time. The prep formula first breaks down the lipid barrier to prepare the skin for enhanced penetration of the peel into the epidermis. Next the peel solution, which utilises a combination of alpha-hydroxy acids (citric, glycolic and lactic acids), is applied to provide both epidermal exfoliation and renewal. Finally a neutraliser is applied to calm and soothe the skin while restoring it back to a normal pH.

  • Stimulates epidermal turnover
  • Accelerates exfoliation
  • Evens skin tone and improves pigmentation
  • Minimises the appearance of fine lines
  • Leaves skin calm and without irritation
