CROW'S FEET
Crow's feet is the common name given to lines and wrinkles which appear at the side of the eyes, stretching out towards the temples in a shape similar to a crow’s claw or foot. The skin around the eyes is 40% thinner than in other areas of our face, making it more delicate and therefore more susceptible to damage over time. As the muscles expand and contract under the skin over time, the skin is stretched and this eventually causes a loss of elasticity. Combined with environmental and lifestyle factors and a gradual loss of collagen and elastin over time, lines and wrinkles start to form.
The most appropriate treatment for crow's feet lines will depend on individual circumstances and the nature of the lines that exist. Some lines appear only during movement of the muscles (dynamic lines), but some lines are present all the time (static lines), which can be more difficult to treat. There are various options for treating crow's feet lines.
Laser Genesis is a new skin therapy that has been proven to help your body increase your levels of collagen, leading to an overall improved skin texture and healthier-looking skin. Working to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, redness, pigmentation, active acne and acne scarring, while promoting the natural nourishment of skin, this treatment has fast become one of the most popular laser treatments available.
These are probably the most commonly used and effective treatments for crow's feet lines. They work by relaxing the muscles which softens the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. They are particularly effective for dynamic lines.
HIFU is the latest technology for providing non-surgical face lifts. Using High Intensity Focused Ultrasound waves, tissues deep in the skin are stimulated to produce more collagen and elastin, creating lift and skin tightening and thereby improving the appearance of crow's feet lines.
Polynucleotides stimulate the body's natural repair mechanisms, repair damaged cells and boost collagen and elastin production to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. They also initiate the body's own fibroblast production for improved skin resilience.
Skin Boosters increase the levels of hydration in the skin and help to plump the skin, thereby improving fine lines and wrinkles, producing refreshed, brighter and younger looking skin.
Medical grade skin care products have specially formulated ingredients to help soften fine lines and wrinkles when used alongside other treatments.
LED Light therapy helps to improve the appearance of early fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin texture and reduce inflammation and the signs of ageing.
